Taiwan Advisory Team provides corporate clients in Taiwan with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products. Our Advisory Team provides advisory and financing services to the leading players in the sectors we cover. Our group offers a wide range of products, including M&A advisory, equity and debt financing, structured finance, risk management / hedging and co-investing. Our Analysts and Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Their responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. They will gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills.

Analysts and Associates develop financial models, perform customized company valuation analysis, and are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances. They organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, assess clients’ situations to provide the necessary financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Additionally, Analysts coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions; lead due diligence processes and actively participate in the negotiations of legal documentation. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our Analysts and Associates are core to Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

The Investment Banking Division Classic Coverage Team is looking for an Analyst / Associate to be based in Taipei. Our Analyst / Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions.

• Their responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions.
• They will gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills.
• They organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, assess clients’ situations to provide the necessary financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
• From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our Analysts/ Associates are a vital part of Goldman Sachs’ banking team’s investments.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• MBA degree from top Business schools or Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline.
• Minimum 2 years (for Analysts) & 3 years (for Associates) investment banking or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within Investment Banking Division.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions.
