GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The position holder will report directly to Regional HR Director of Asia with business relationships with the Vertical/Functional leaders . The incumbent will be responsible to plan, implement, evaluate, recommend and manage the full functions of human resources related works and projects, including recruitment and staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations in the company within Corporate guidelines and principles, with the objective of creating a people-oriented working environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead HR initiatives including: recruiting, delivery on Corp. training initiatives, performance management, succession planning, career development, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with and support efforts related to human resources planning and execution to support business goals and deliver results.
· Ensure continued focus with development and implementation of action plans to drive a High Performance Culture and employee engagement within the organization.
· Assist Business leaders with manpower planning and re-org alignment to support overall business goals.
· Facilitate issue resolution between employees and managers, employee-to-employee, as required.
· Ensure and enforce compliance with all applicable employment laws, company policies, and collective bargaining agreement terms.
· Act as change agent to continuously improve processes, methods, past practices, etc.
· Act as a consultant to Business leaders for Human Resource issues (i.e., career development, staffing, discipline, performance and talent management).
· Coordinate communication efforts for supported customer groups (i.e. staff meetings, announcements, etc.).
· Ensure orientation and induction for newly hired employees and contractors is completed.
· Ensure implementation of Company policies and standardized processes and look for ways to improve the policies, processes and organizational structure.
· Analyze HR metrics and create and implement action plans based on those metrics in line with the Function and/or business objectives.
· Assure that assigned area of responsibilities are performed within budget, perform cost control activities, prepare annual budget requests, assure effective and efficient use of budgeted funds and personnel.
