About The Job

As a Global Supply Chain Manager for Consumer Hardware, you will serve as the primary contact for internal teams and external partners/suppliers for sourcing and procurement. You will build consensus with both internal and external stakeholders and will be the main contact for supplier management.

You will lead and support the development, implementation, and management of global strategies to provide Google’s Consumer Hardware Organization with optimal flexibility, quality, and supply assurance. Working closely with Product Management, Hardware/Software Engineering, Industrial Design, Quality Engineering, and Operations teams, you will maintain long-term supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for identification, development, discussions, and management of existing and developing electrical engineering suppliers for Google Hardware.
• Ensure continuity of supply, driving necessary and timely action for potential supply issues, and alignment with Product Operations team.
• Manage external communications with our suppliers to identify root causes, and closely follow up supply shortage recovery plans until shortage risk is mitigated.
• Develop and manage supplier supply commit and continuity performance metrics.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders to driving operational and cost efficiencies across Google Hardware.
