Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Support financial initiatives such as inventory management, manufacturing cost and capital spending control.

Support AMC and cost variances analysis including manufacturing cost and cost of goods sold to identify risks/opportunities.

Build and maintain cost models to provide financial support for various manufacturing planning

Work with cost reduction initiatives with cross function.

Support Plant/Division for daily operations and ad-hoc analysis

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Perform month end closing process, such as inventory cost calculation, intercompany transaction, and expense analysis, etc.
• Support finance justifications for cost improvement project or capital project and monitor capital/project expense spending status.
• Support monthly cost forecast and capital forecast.
• Assist Plant with annual budget and five-year plan preparation.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis support for business decisions.
• Perform effective internal control practice

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex topics
• Good in English communication
• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and work independently
• Proactive, open-minded, willing to share knowledge and expertise

Education And Experience

• BS in Finance/Accounting
• 3+ years min, Manufacturing costing or audit firm experiences preferred
