We’re always looking for innovative ways to fine-tune our riders’ VanMoof experience. Ready to play a part in one of the most exciting fields of technological innovation? Our Product Development team in Taipei is looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to help us improve our bikes’ reliability, durability, and serviceability. You’ll play a key role in our New Product Development team, who work to analyze, identify, develop, and improve all our e-bikes’ components and accessories.

As a Failure Analysis Engineer, You’ll join our talented and highly innovative team of more than 100 Developers who are on a mission to revolutionize the way people move around cities. You’ll work on improving all our products currently in the market. We’ll expect you to stay closely connected with our cross-functional teams, and get involved early on in the design process of our new products.

Our ideal candidate has a passion for engineering and is motivated by our mission to get the next billion on bikes. Your extensive knowledge of failure reporting and quality improvement will ultimately help us produce the best e-bike in the world.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll join Failure Analysts and Mechanical Engineers to be a part of our Product Development team, who’s responsibility is to make sure the quality and reliability of our products is world class.
• You’ll perform failure and root cause analysis on product in the market, in conjunction with the Engineering and Design teams.
• You’ll design and develop failure reports to the Design, Engineering, and Quality Improvement teams.
• You’ll develop test methods, procedures, and failure analysis documentation.
• You’ll work closely with Industrial Design and Product Development teams in Taipei and in Amsterdam to improve our products.
• You’ll analyze usage from the field in order to improve requirement setting and testing methods.
  

What You’ll Bring

• You have a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or in an equivalent subject.
• You have at least three years of experience of working on product development and engineering projects.
• You have experience working with quality improvement methodology and programs.
• You’ve worked on projects from development through to mass production.
• You have experience working in a high-volume environment.
• You have experience with working with Asian-based suppliers.
• You have excellent English and Mandarin language skills, both written and spoken.
• You have an appreciation for numbers and are comfortable presenting.
