About Our Client

My client is NASDAQ listed semiconductor products and solutions manufacturer that creates technologies to solve problems in various industries.

Job Description

• Adapt evaluation boards to meet customer design requirements.
• Assess and characterize analog and mixed signal circuits to demonstrate their performance.
• Design and test analog and power application circuits.
• Offer customer and FAE support.
• Debug customer application circuits.
• Design, supervise layout, and debug demo boards.
• Support existing products.
• Write technical articles, design, and application notes.
  

The Successful Applicant

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant power supply design experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• An extensive background in analog and power electronic circuit analysis and design.
• A thorough understanding of switchmode power conversion topologies, modeling, and control techniques.
• A good understanding of magnetic components, filter design, and EMI mitigation techniques.
• Expertise in simulation and modeling. Knowledge of SPICE, MathCad, Matlab, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with real-world issues such as component parasitics, thermal issues, and EMI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
