The senior manager of Foundry New Product Introduction (NPI) plays a critical role within external manufacturing team. This position is responsible for foundry technology roadmap, new technology enablement, and new product introduction. You are expected to understand and influence foundries’ technologies to enable onsemi’s revenue and margin growth. Position will partner with lead foundries and current and future technologies including, MOSFET, BCD, advanced CMOS, and image sensors. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute foundry technology strategy to ensure adequate technology and competitive pricing for onsemi’s products.

• Collaborate with internal cross functional teams, including business units, sales, procurement, legal, and executive management to develop and execute a foundry technology strategy to provide best in class technologies with competitive price to onsemi’s products. Establish relationships with foundry companies and their executives to continue to strengthen partnerships and support onsemi’s business needs.
• Manage the foundry technology strategy. This includes establishing, and maintaining partnerships for all of onsemi’s current and future technologies including MOSFET, BCD, CMOS down to and including 16nm, and image sensors.
• Manage internal technology needs and technology selection for new engagements and new technology introduction. This includes managing all new technology introduction needs, including shuttles, tapeouts, IP merges, masks, and foundry schedules and logistics, as well as, enabling new technology joint development in external foundries.
• Partner with internal teams to successfully enable new product introduction and volume production in foundries for realization of onsemi’s overall manufacturing strategy.
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with semiconductor technology development, fab integration, product engineering, business development, foundry management in IDM, foundry, fabless companies. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Flexible in local travel (frequent around Taiwan area, occasionally around Asia)
