Embedded Firmware Engineer

仕事内容

• Take a Router/Switch project from concept and design to implementation and testing, learning new tools and software components quickly as required
• Mainly on new Router/Switch middle layer development, e.g. kernel, driver, file-system
• Be able to work on and resolve issues in many diverse areas of the system
• Co-work with worldwide developers including QA, hardware engineers, support engineers, manufacturers.
• The candidate will be working on UniFi products series
  

• Proficient in C/C++, shell scripting, Makefile
• Experience with Linux device drivers development, Linux kernel patching, source management system such as git
• Experience with u-boot, flash partition, filesystem, makefile, build system
• Experience with various peripheral (e.g. MDIO, RGMII/SGMII/QSGMII, DDR, UART, I2C, GPIO, FLASH)
• Experience with networking products development, e.g. Firewall, Router, Switch
• Moderate knowledge of networking
• [PLUS] Knowledge in networking protocols, e.g. NAT, VPN, bridging, VLAN, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE, OSPF, BGP
