Responsibilities

  • Work with Image Quality and manage teams to advance Image Quality in silicon for consumer cameras made by Google.
  • Establish metrics, methodologies, and best practices for subjective and objective image quality evaluation at all stages of ISP development.
  • Guide the algorithm choices to make optimal trade-offs between Image quality relative to product requirements, area, power, and performance considerations.
  • Partner with Algorithm teams in designing tunability of image processing and computational photography algorithms, and supervise the development of tuning collateral required by Product teams.
  • Partner with Product teams in delivering image and video quality to the full potential of the hardware products.
