The Business and Integrated Operations Continuous Improvement (CI) organization in the DuPont Electronics & Industrial (E&I) business has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a talented Continuous Improvement Resource role.

The CI team is accountable for defining and leading implementation of commercial and integrated operations work process standards. The team is also the primary source of program/project leadership. In that scope, this role supports end to end process excellence through development and application of standard methods, tools, metrics, and training for Commercial and Integrated Operations functions (CSR, Demand, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics). Lean/Six sigma methodologies are utilized to drive excellence through program and project leadership.

[Core Responsibilities]

• Lead improvement projects to realization and financial validation through application of Lean and Six Sigma methodology.
• Projects focus on standard process implementation, defect reduction or waste elimination to achieve functional and system improvement, organization development, cost reduction, work process, and quality improvement.
• Business Analytics – Ability to see gaps in business analysis and propose solutions. Should be aware of current industry practices and emerging trends.
• Commercial Process knowledge to be able to consult with commercial professionals and commercial Subject Matter Experts as project leader.
• Leadership skills – the ability to work with leadership to drive a vision for a world class management process.
• Apply lean tools including value stream mapping, job/task analysis, visual management, kaizen, brainstorming to identify wastes and organize Kaizen improvement teams.
• Draft charters for improvement projects with clearly defined benefits, scope, resource requirements and project plan with milestones and timeline.
• Deliver high level supply chain maps from suppliers to compounding plants to customers.
• Integrates issue solutions into an overall process vision for an optimal system.
  

[Job Qualification]

• 5 years minimum applicable experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Commercial role.
• Project/program management experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification
• Lean Practitioner trained and capable.
• APICS CPIM required (in role if not prior).
• ERP / SAP competency.
• Knowledgeable of supply chain and operations design and improvement.
• Speaks English fluently.
