Manor Renewable Energy (MRE), an OEG Group company, was established in 2013 and is recognised across the offshore energy industry for our knowledge and expertise in delivering a comprehensive range of temporary power, vessel provision and engineering solutions to the sector.

This year we celebrate 10 years of MRE; throughout the last decade MRE has supported the lifecycle of numerous offshore wind farms, from the construction phase through to O&M, with our global fleet of offshore support vessels and our teams of marine and engineering professionals.

Position:

The Commercial Executive reports to Head of Commercial. They are responsible for managing client and other stakeholder relationships. From the promotion of products and services, and supporting the tendering solutions to existing clients, to seeking new clients and undertaking stakeholder engagement to identify any risks to the Company’s achievement of Sales targets.

  • Managing the overall quality of data within the company sales system and work with the sales and tender team to ensure it is kept up to date to ensure we are managing an effective sales pipeline, thoroughly qualifying opportunities and managing communication & information flows to increase the win rate of opportunities
  • Monitoring of analytics and tracking the internal and external online sales database providing regular reports to Head of Commercial and the business.
  • Supporting Head of Commercial in managing and executing the marketing events, and providing the logistical support for exhibition and conference attendance and other events
  • Supporting the Commercial to provide the Management Team with regular reports related to all relevant sales, market and competitor activity including an accurate sales pipeline, monthly business update and forecast
  • Supporting the tender team in preparing the tender documents as the bid progresses. Work closely with Head of Commercial and tender team to ensure a thorough understanding of the solution and customer needs
  • Maintain team Share-Point Site (or other online work platform) and keep teams updated.
  • With the support of UK marketing, maintain and update the image and marketing content libraries
  • Supporting the Commercial by way of scheduling, communication liaison, information preparation, data analysis and records management.
  • Supporting in the preparation of a range of high-quality publicity materials as required which could include, although not exclusively: newsletters, customer communications, advertisements, case studies, company literature and press releases
  • Supporting the Head of Commercial in conducting market research and giving insights to the business as well as staying abreast of the industry and report on market intelligence including client strategy and development, industry trends and new products and services
  • Working with Head of Commercial to implement integrated marketing activities which support the company’s business plan.
  • Attending client meetings in support of the Head of Commercial and other management team
  • Attending industry, government and other stakeholder events and report to management on any issues that may impact Company activities and the achievement of the business goals
  • Supporting the Head of Commercial and management team with other requests as required
  • Ensure all Commercial activity is conducted in line with Company HSEQ requirements.
  • Provide an effective channel for customer and/or stakeholders’ feedback to drive Company continuous improvement.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure the highest level of delivery of services.
  • Ensure strong working relationship with all departments/group entities in the group and shareholders. Provide feedback to all relevant business areas to ensure lessons learnt and product trends captured.

Requirements:

Key skills and attributes required to add value to the business include:

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and reporting skills
  • A solid understanding of good sales practises, business development and RQHSE practices and practical experience of B2B marketing practices.
  • Excellent written communication capabilities with the ability to engage and convey messages to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to work well either individually or as part of a team and deliver to tight deadlines handling multiple projects

Essential / Desirable qualifications required include:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably from a marketing or commercial background.
  • Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales or marketing role, in a business to business environment
  • Good business knowledge of MS Office, and preferably having the experience in social media and sales systems
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese

Other information:

Competitive salary, national labour insurance, health insurance and pension included. Full time 37 ½ hours week.

Must have the right to work in Taiwan.
