As a HP Commercial EPM PMO member, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing resources, simplifying operations, enhancing process efficiency, and leading digital transformation initiatives. This position will be responsible for initiating tasks, leading discussions, collaborating with functional teams for successful project execution, and sharing insights with the executive leadership team for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Resource Optimization: Optimize resources, ensuring efficient utilization and allocation to maximize project success.
• Operational Complexity Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce operational complexity within the engineering program management domain, streamlining processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Initiate Tasks and Leadership: Lead projects proactively, providing effective leadership throughout lifecycles.
• Collaboration with Functional Teams: Collaborate seamlessly for successful project execution and effective teamwork.
• Stakeholder Communication: Foster transparent communication between project teams, key stakeholders, and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
• Insights Sharing: Share insights, key performance indicators, project statuses, and areas for improvement with leadership team, providing valuable info for strategic decision-making.
• Digital Transformation: Lead digital transformation initiatives within EPM framework, leveraging technological solutions to enhance project management capabilities and outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in Engineering Program Management.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering project management process, methodologies, and tools.
• Exceptional presentation skills and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences to lead discussions and drive results.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in the engineering domain.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience with HP commercial process, NB/DT IUR requirements management and NRE budget oversight is preferred.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives in an engineering context. Microsoft Power BI and Python skill is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
