Are you looking to secure a permanent potion as a Charter Manager For a client based in South East Asia?

I am working for an international company who is based in South East Asia looking recruiting for a Charter Manager.

This role will be fully responsible for project managing the vessel charter contracts and act as the contact window to communicate/negotiate with clients and prepare for vessel charter proposal. The chartering manager will develop and maintain a system to provide the Company with up-to-date visibility of all vessels chartered. The Charter Manager will keep in constant contact with existing and potential clients, brokers and report regularly to the management team.

Key Tasks

• Maximize utilization of the Company’s fleet of
• Negotiating and executing charter parties with charterers, operators and
• Project managing the vessel charter contracts from vessel delivery to redelivery, including managing
• Promulgate key charter party details internally to ensure alignment an effective delivery of the charter.
• Together with fleet team, maintain detailed, pertinent and up to date charter records of all vessels owned by the
• Preparation, issuing, control and management of hire
• Networking and engaging with key stakeholders to raise profile of the
• Contribute to the Company’s business strategy and ongoing business plan from a vessel revenue and fleet requirement
• Work closely with fleet team to ensure that the fleet has as high availability when on charter as possible.
• Provide the Management with regular reports related to all relevant sales, market and competitor activity including an accurate vessel sales
• Ensure all Commercial activity is conducted in line with Company Legal and RQHSE requirements.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

• Educated to university degree level with a preferred 5 years of experience in maritime operations or vessel chartering and
• Good understanding with charter party
• Knowledge of the industry and familiar with all related laws and
• Fluent in written and spoken English and
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Team player who has the discipline to meet pre-defined deadlines
• Ability to achieve results in a demanding and challenging environment, working regularly under pressure
  

The required candidate is to be available to start in Q2 2021, the salary is between NT$900k - NT$1.1m, experience dependent.
