We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Art Director (Communications), one with a unique international design perspective, highly skilled with visual compositing to join the Gogolook brand marketing team. You will play a crucial role in crafting Gogolook’s future design language as you will help lead the design and execution of on & offline visual projects for advertising, marketing materials, corporate identity or a similar purpose.

This role is open to any nationality who has an international design view and is willing to live/work in Taipei, Taiwan as the job requires on-site days. Your English should be very good while your Mandarin (Traditional Characters) should be acceptable at minimum. Gogolook will assist with work Visa application for non-Taiwanese provided you fit the requirements below.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize & advance ideas, develop campaigns and deliver a unique creative work for both offline & online marketing projects and other company objectives. Either individually or partnering with a copywriter
• Continue to drive and enhance the visual look, tone and feel of all of the work
• Develop guidelines
• Source & manage the production process of all materials related to the marketing campaign
• Confidently juggle several projects at the same time
• Gathering data to understand the target audiences creative attraction and other motivating factors to win consumers
• Conducting visual research about competition and relevant industries as needed
• Owner of delivering exceptional creative work on time, and on budget
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience of at least 8 years as a communication art-led role with a strong portfolio showcasing your versatile designs (see more info in ‘Notes’ section)
• Past creative experience with SaaS projects will be advantageous
• Knowledge of existent and future craft trends according to industry standards.
• Ability to handle pressure for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to details
• Creative, adaptive and able to think outside of the box to develop attention grabbing visual to suit different target audiences
• Ability to work independently, yet as a team with a positive attitude. This role does not have a direct superior who is a creative base
