Ready to lead our bike frame development as we strengthen our position as the number one city e-bike company in the world? As a Bicycle Frame Design Engineer in our Research & Development (R&D) team, you’ll lead the development of our e-bikes’ frame and front fork from conceptual stages through to mass production. Your goal will be to make sure that components are built according to specifications and shipped to the given timeline.

As a Bicycle Frame Design Engineer, you’ll constantly think outside of the box, ask crucial questions, and dream up innovative solutions. Your skills and expertise will help you to turn conceptual product designs into detailed 2D drawings and 3D models. You’ll work closely with our suppliers and the cross-functional team and be based at our production headquarters in Taipei.

You’ll bring a professional engineering perspective to the table and have a deep working knowledge of product development of industrial products. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the product development process and hands-on experience in bringing products to life. You’ll also need the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly innovative environment.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll take the product requirements (such as weight/stiffness/cost/other targets) and the design inspiration from our industrial designers to create new, groundbreaking e-bikes.
  

根據產品要求，如重量/剛度/成本/其他目標，與工業設計師的設計靈感，創造出新的自行車。

• You’ll design tubing, forgings, castings, stampings, etc. for frames, forks, and e-bike components.
  

設計車架，前叉與相關零件，包含管材，鍛造件，鑄造件與沖壓件…等。

• You’ll create CAD models, drawings, and BOM management, and conduct the release process.
  

創建電腦輔助設計(CAD)模型，工程圖和材料表(BOM)管理，以最佳化設計確保CAD完整性和相容性，並執行發布過程。

• You’ll come up with ideas, prototype, and iterate through new design concepts to confirm they meet fit/form/function and manufacturability requirements.
  

構思、製作原型並迭代新的設計概念，以確認它們滿足零件搭接/外型/功能和可製造性要求。

• You’ll optimize the concepts and designs with analytical and physical assessments, ensuring conformation to regulations governing assigned systems and components.
  

通過分析和物理評估來優化設計概念，確保對應系統與零件符合相關法規。

• You’ll create and develop components’ specifications to achieve required performance/ design quality.
  

開創零部件規格以達成需求性能與設計品質。

• You’ll lead product/components design reviews, mediation in trade-off situations to ensure design solutions are in sync with product attribute targets.
  

主導產品/零組件設計審查，在折衷方案中進行調解仲裁，以確保設計解決方案與產品屬性目標保持同步。

• You’ll develop and execute components DVP&R to Identify failure mode and weak designs and processes.
  

開發並執行零件的設計驗證計畫與報告，以此辨識失效模式，與設計或製程的可能弱點。

• You’ll work closely with suppliers for tool design accommodation, manufacturing process feasibility, validation, and other engineering activities as specified for the assigned commodity.
  

對負責零組件所指定的製造可行性，驗證和其他工程活動，與供應商緊密協作。

• You’ll work on issues analysis and deliver feasible solutions for troubleshooting.
  

進行問題分析並提供可行的解決方案以達成故障排除。

What You’ll Bring

• You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  

具有機械工程學士學位，碩士學位優先。

• You have at least three years of bike frame design and/or manufacturing experience
  

3年以上自行車車架設計與製造經驗。

• You have a solid understanding of design for manufacturing/assembly (DFM/DFA) such as metal stamping, die-casting, forging, machining, and brazing welding.
  

對可製造性與可組裝設計有扎實的理解，包含金屬沖壓，壓鑄，鍛造, 機械加工和焊接等製程。

• You have outstanding 3D modelling/2D drawing skills. SOLIDWORKS is an advantage.
  

優秀的3D建模與工程圖繪製技巧。軟體平台SOLIDWORKS優先

• You have proven experience in bicycle frame from concept development to production.
  

對自行車車架結構，至少具有一個完整開發專案，從概念到生產的實務經驗。

• You have a detail-oriented mindset with solid documentation skills.
  

注重細節的個性和紮實的檔案管理能力。

• You are a proven problem-solver and have strong communication skills.
  

經過驗證的問題解決能力，與優秀的溝通能力。

• You have experience with high volume manufacturing.
  

具有大批量製造產品經驗者優先。

• You have basic-level English communication skills.
