The (Asso.) Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for helping the organization uncover insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics. Working closely with the business, they will be responsible for understanding, interpreting and presenting data and findings. This role will make impactful decisions by quickly deciphering data with advance analytical tools and telling a story with the information with effective data visualizations.
The Business Intelligence Manager/Analyst will also be responsible for managing and prioritizing multiple projects for the appropriate business unit(s) and/or functional team(s); defining, implementing, and communicating tactics for achieving business objectives; and evaluating business intelligence tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interface with business/functional area to identify key questions/issues/focus
- Perform assessments/statistical analysis using variety of analytics tools, sourcing data
- Collaborate with Data Governance/Data Architects to validate appropriate data sources
- Build appropriate models to address needs and key questions
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their strategy
- Partnership with business owners/cross functional teams to ensure comprehensive use of data in commercial decision making
- Facilitate the communication and translation of business user requirements and solutions between Global project team and business owner
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Quotative Finance, Statistics or related field; Master’s degree from an accredited institution is plus.
- 3-5 years of working experience in a related role.
- Expert in enterprise reporting, data modeling and integration, and analytical techniques (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics).
- Proficiency in visualization and analytic tools including Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik, Cognos and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – English proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas, facts clearly and concisely, and technical information to senior management, as well as other internal customers both verbally and written.
