Job Description Summary
Arrangement and Piping engineering representative In front of customer and Partner to facilitate face to face technical discussions and clarification during engineering phase, Technical support during installation and Commissioning Phase. Support technical solution to issues/clarification arisen from arrangement, piping, valves, and supports in close coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Create the Arrangement of equipment, Piping, structural steel 3D elements inside the 3D Model, in line with the P&ID & the Piping Class Manual requirements as per design codes and Working Instruction.
• From the 3D Model, extract, complete and edit the Arrangement drawings (GA, CG, PA. etc) if required.
• Estimate the Piping and Support BoQ for site modification and procurement.
• Manage & check the interface data (type, dimensions, location etc)
• Analyze of client’s comments for necessary clarification to support GE position.
• Ensure experience feedback from the project. Help to solve the closeout of the punch item list to obtain COD and organize archive of final documentation.
• Check & comment external documents (Partners, Sub Contractors,) and manage & check the interface data (type, dimensions, location, ... )
• Coordinate with the other team members and report to the Project and Line Management
• Input the as-recorded information inside the 3D Model and Arrangement drawings.
• Handling of necessary changes of pipe routing, changes of support allocation etc. contacting the design office (if necessary) in regard to soft- and hardware
• Support the site for prompt resolution of NCR/ER
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 10 years of experience in Arrangement and piping design
• Good knowledge of AVEVA PDMS/E3D and other piping engineering tools;
• Good English and Mandarin proficiency.
  
  

Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)

• Site experience in addition to engineering
• Know and apply design methods, rules and tools to specify the systems/ components
• Power Plant process knowledge
• Knowledge of ASME standards
• Knowledge of Interfaces
• Good knowledge of Engineering, Design and Project Management tools and methods
