Application Engineer in Taiwan (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• After an intensive training period of several months, you take the lead in providing first line application support by controlling an advanced nano-lithography machine, monitoring its performance, analyzing data and providing solutions to assure the equipment remains operational within the required specifications.
• Capture the results of regular checks, process optimizations and problem cases into documents and reports, be the principal communication line to the 2nd level support.
• Be part of a multi-site team (Tainan, Taichung, Hsinchu) and contribute to the exchange of knowledge, provide on-site support and participate in training.

Qualifications:

• You have a higher degree (BSc or MSc) in physics, chemistry or engineering.
• Tech-savy and while interested in further personal development.
• You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills (min. TOEIC 800).
• You can grasp complex technical content and synthesize it clearly while using your analytical skills and technical knowledge.
• You know how to cope with challenges, work independently but are also a team player.
• Well organized, assertive and a likeable team member who is eager to continuously improve the use of interpersonal skills.
• Making informed decisions in stress situations while remaining resilient.
• Occasional flexible working arrangements and rotational shifts is not cumbersome.
• Python, Office solutions and Linux experience is beneficial.
