[Mandarin speaking is a must.] We’re looking for a an experienced Vice President, Manufacturing Operaitons for a big electronics design & manufacturing company. This position will report to the CEO and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operations in India. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Quality Assurance, P&L responsibility, Supply Chain, and Operations management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing operations, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and manage the functional managers/leaders in India, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the achievement of operational goals and objectives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies throughout the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage the overall site operations, including production planning, capacity utilization, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Assume P&L responsibility for the manufacturing operations, monitoring financial performance, and implementing strategies to achieve profitability targets.
• Supervise the leaders of Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales/Order Fulfillment to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for operational improvement and innovation.
• Drive a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.

Desired Profile

• 15+ years of experience in a leadership role within the Electronics Design & Manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Operations.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations (>5000 DLs), preferably in Asian countries.
• Excellent knowledge of industry best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence, optimize efficiency, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Results driven. Ability to enhance manufacturing performance and deliver business KPIs. Strong leadership track record in a matrix organization.
• Educational background from Engineering related studies will be a plus.
