Thermal Engineer

[Graphics Driver (GPU) Thermal Mechanical Design & Validation Engineer]

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or 1 - 3 years of relevant work exp. in testing thermal mechanical solutions for electronics applications.
• Familiarity w/ the basics of heat transfer.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, graphics hardware, firmware (FW), and software (SW).
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin & English, enabling effective cross-regional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills w/ the ability to collaborate proactively and effectively across different teams to achieve project goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Windows OS, demonstrating a solid understanding of essential software tools.
• Exp. w/ 3D modelling SW such as Creo or SolidWorks is an asset.
• Exp. w/ mechanical simulation SW such as Abaqus or Ansys Mechanical is an asset.
• Exp. w/ thermal simulation SW such as Icepak or Flotherm is an asset.
• Exp. w/ Linux, Python, JavaScript, database management, Power BI, or C++ is desirable.
• Work w/ suppliers & internal teams on resolving issues
• Interact w/ multiple teams inside & outside of client
• To work w/ client’s Graphics Project Teams in Canada, Taiwan and HCLTech’s Delivery Teams in Canada, India.
• Working permit & Mandarin ability are required w/ foreigner
