We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our Barco Test Team in Taiwan to contribute to the development and test of the best-in-class wireless collaboration products for the meeting rooms and classrooms solutions that are used by thousands of customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a passionate agile scrum team to ensure the quality of the software wireless collaboration products we enter to market with

• Work closely with our system validation team in Belgium and India for continuously integration and delivery of business value to our customers

• Cooperate with the team to prepare thoughtful testing cases by applying diligently Definition of Done for the involved user stories

• Creative thinking on how to make test cases as automation FIRST – Python and Robot Framework. Achieving high level of automation is considered a cornerstone of our agile development framework

• Validate and Analyze testing results and provide effective reports and suggestions to improve quality and coverage

• Help implement and propagate Test Driven Development principles

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an Agile environment. Familiar with the Agile Mindset (be agile, not act agile)

• Hold a bachelor or master degree in a software development or electronics related areas

• Have strong Python proficiency

• Be familiar to be confronted with a large range of technologies, development languages, network elements, hardware components, etc.

• Have strong Robot Test Automation Framework experience

• Have additional experience in the following domains is a plus:

o Network communication (TCP/UDP/…) and related security (SSL)

o Multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux)

o Embedded software

o Test automation

o Electronics

• Like to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge

• Possess analytical skills and eye for detail and quality.

• Fluent in English

• Be able to travel overseas occasionally
