  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in Android software development (i.e., experience with connectivity applications, media applications, and the Android framework).
  • 4 years of experience in system design of Android applications.
  • 2 years of experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction and launching products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience launching 3 products.
  • Domain knowledge with mobile connectivity (e.g., Bluetooth or Wi-Fi).
  • Ability to lead and drive projects with quality.
  • Ability to ramp-up and learn quickly in a technically complex domain.
  • Ability to collaborate well within and outside the team.

As a Technical Lead, you’ll meet many Google engineers across various teams. You’ll be building the core cross-device experiences that our customers love, and will demonstrate technical leadership across the connected device ecosystem at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate and build exceptional cross-device experiences and system infrastructure for Pixel users.
  • Lay the groundwork to scale differentiating Pixel moments.
  • Optimize existing cross-device functions on Pixel devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate cross-device experiences for Pixel users
  • Research and develop protocols for device-to-device connectivities on Pixel devices.
