Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• The Taiwan Commercial Project Manager (CPM) will have organizational responsibility for leading the Commercial Project Management department which includes.
• Cost Control
• Planning & Scheduling
• Estimating
• Document Control
• Client contract management This is a critical Leadership position that has ownership across the various commercial functions including those stated above. It will be the point of communication for commercial function across projects and regions. It will lead, plan and develop overall commercial capabilities, as well as driving commercial review processes. In addition, the position will require working directly on projects as the commercial lead and supporting Projects providing oversight to dedicated on-site Commercial Project Managers who manage the overall functions and team for ’Procurement & Subcontracting’, ’Project Control’ and ’ Cost Control ’ on individual projects. It also has responsibility towards tendering activities. The position requires the CPM to ensure projects are set-up with the necessary commercial oversight including establishing the project set-up in accordance with Exyte corporate and/or regional policies and procedures and apply Company designated Tools. This position owns project commercial oversight and support deliverables of the CPM team members assigned to projects and ensure robust commercial oversight. This include leading/supporting/directing any Claim process; keeping tab of statute and market changes; driving accuracy and completeness of project cost profiles. Close collaboration with Procurement and Subcontract Management (PSM) department with the close interdependences between the CPM and PSM organizations. As Exyte continues to develop digitalization capabilities this role should be a strong advocate for change and support or lead any corporate directives that need to be implemented in Taiwan. This would include actively participating and supporting the new ERP roll out. The successful candidate will be based in Hsinchu however if supporting a major project could be site based and or require regular project visits. Organizationally this position reports directly to the SEA Regional Director of CPM
  

Show your expertise

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience working in a similar role on hi-tech projects within the semi-conductor, life science or data center sectors.
• Deep expertise in contracts both up and down stream as well as estimating.
• Strong understanding of Procurement process and Project Controls
• Experience in the use and/or understanding of project delivery software
• Managed multiple projects project teams concurrently
• Degree in Engineering, Commercial Management (or similar)
• Others: Company business language is English however with local Clients Chinese is necessary.
• Software skill: SAP, P6, SharePoint
• Previous work experience in Taiwan, China or Asia
• Good organizational, operational and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of the industry and industry best practices.
• Commitment to safety
• Clear communicator
• Action orientation to meet project deadlines and work independently.
• PMI, MRICS, AACE or similar relevant profession certification.
