Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a Global Supplier Quality Engineer base in our Plant at Taoyuan , Taiwan location.

Responsibilities:

• Review Isola manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for production.
• Researching and assessing the best vendors to supply necessary materials.
• Visit supplier facilities to observing the manufacturing environment and assess procedures.
• Performing regular quality control audits to ensure suppliers continue to work in compliance with company and federal standards.
• Review incoming raw material quality defect reports and trend defect issues.
• Drive supplier quality excellence by partnering with suppliers to address trending quality defects into Isola manufacturing sites.
• Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
• Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
• Serve as a liaison between Isola senior management and the suppliers to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or logistics.
• Proven experience in manufacturing of copper foil, glass fabric, or chemical raw materials.
• Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
• Good working knowledge of quality control standards and ISO 9001 compliance requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
• Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
