Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and SAP inventory management systems.

  • Ability to work independently, with discretion and judgment in determining appropriate steps.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills such as planning, status reporting, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and process documentation.

About The Job

Global Manufacturing Operations (GMO) Managers work with Google’s engineers and manufacturing partners to provide Google stable production and delivery of compute infrastructure for Google.

As a Site Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for capacity planning, execution, fulfilment, and driving process improvements in our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will work closely with NPI engineers, planners, material managers, quality engineers, and manufacturing partners to drive exceptional manufacturing operations at our supplier sites in the APAC region.

In this role, you will also drive manufacturing and scheduling planning at our partners’ facilities, working closely with Google’s materials managers, and planners to increase operational effectiveness while lowering costs. You will be an expert in modern manufacturing and planning systems while improving our partners’ collaboration with Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage second-sourcing activities including project management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Execute weekly On-Time Delivery (OTD) capacity decisions and implement them with Google’s key partners. Enable on-time and predictable delivery of finished goods to all points of consumption.
  • Drive Google’s partners to achieve the most efficient schedule planning while managing internal and external constraints.
  • Standardize internal and external facing digitized dashboards and metrics.
  • Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/SAP inventory and data integrity.
