The role is Senior Full-Stack Developer for Nordic and offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to influence and create value from day one. The position will be responsible for the development of secured and error-free Supply Chain applications designed according to business requirements and user specifications and delivered based on the agreed schedule. The scope reflects the national and international framework and business environment in which we operate. You will work together with the Computer Integrated Operations – Systems Development Team to ensure a Nordic approach to Systems Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-end and back-end web development of moderate to complex in-house software applications for Supply Chain operations support, including relational databases, reports, and customized user interfaces
• Analyze development requests based on high-level functional, technical, and business logic requirements
• Create high-level technical design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Close interaction with the project management team to ensure completion of projects based on schedule and technical direction
• Perform unit testing and provide quality assurance review of applications for deployment
• Monitor system solutions and provide support in troubleshooting errors reported by the users
• Evaluate existing and new applications and recommend system improvements to optimize the user experience
• Lead and manage the group of systems developers
• Mentor and assist Junior Systems Developers to ensure code alignment with design patterns and frameworks
• Contribute to all development activities and ensure adherence to the company’s framework of secure development and procedures
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 5+ years working experience as System Developer/Full-Stack Developer
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (VueJS/Nuxt)
• Well-versed in development using NodeJS Frameworks
• Proficient understanding of relational database design (MSSQL)
• Knowledge of development tools such as GitHub, BitBucket
• Proficient understanding of platform architectures (e.g., Database, REST API, Microservices architecture, OAUTH2)
• In-depth understanding of web development
• Solid understanding of complex system architecture and exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision and capable of independent decision making
• Background knowledge from the semiconductor manufacturing process and ERP systems is a plus
• The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
