BMC Firmware Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to join our hardware engineering team with responsibilities that include managing all phases of system validation to include directing/managing a system validation team focused on server level designs and collaborating with key partners to ensure designs meet customer requirements as well as managing customers by responding and resolving customer field escalations.

Job Responsibilities

• BMC firmware development Responsibility
• Familiar with AMI BMC source code structure.
• Familiar with x86 Server architecture.
• Familiar with Linux OS kernel
• Basic network knowledge
• Familiar with IPMI specification.
• Redfish develop
• Open BMC
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Server Product Development.
• Firm understanding of servers operating in a data center environment.
• Demonstrated ability working in a fast-moving, small team environment.
• Working knowledge of major server components (motherboards, hard drives, RAM, CPU’s, heat sinks, fans, etc.) required.
• Proven ability using appropriate test equipment.
• C/C++/Python.
