Client: Global IC Design CompanyAs a Software Architect, you will work with SoC architects and processor architects to help design and optimize many stacks in the product, including CPUs, SoCs, OSes, drivers, bootloaders and overall systems. You’ll provide RISC-V ISA knowledge to the design teams and drive the company’s compiler effort. You’ll write and review architecture specifications and supervise the implementation. You will also represent the company to influence the RISC-V ecosystem.Responsibilities

• You will work with multiple engineering teams to architect, design, implement and deliver advanced CPU cores, subsystems, IPs, SoCs and systems.
• Utilize your experience and knowledge to help the processor and SoC design.
• Provide guidance to help design RISC-V compiler, SW and etc.
• Monitor industry development and trend. Provide up-to-date information to the company.

Requirements

• Familiar with RISC-V ISA is a must. Experiences in ARM, x86, MIPS ISA are a plus.
• OS and especially kernel domain knowledge are required. Familiar with modern computer architecture.
• Experiences in booting and debugging Linux with new processors are a big plus.
• Experience in writing and reviewing architecture specifications, both for hardware and software
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong project leadership skills, including work breakdowns and estimates.
• MS in Computer Science, EE or mathematics with 18+ years experience.
