Substation Quality Manager

Location:Taiwan

Job Overview

We are looking for highly diligent candidates with excellent attention to detail for the role of Quality Manager. Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring and evaluating substation construction processes, examining all equipment to determine their quality at FAT/SAT, engaging with internal quality management team and follow the quality policy. Knowledge of quantities and budgets, in addition to being helpful at the beginning of the project, can also be useful in negotiating with the EPC contractor later stage of the project.

Responsibilities

• Provides input for the development of quality standards and/or specifications and procedures relative to ITP/FAT/SAT
• A passion for risk management - identifying high risk/high reward opportunities and betting boldly, but not recklessly, on them
• Understand and deploy processes to assure conformance to government regulations, industry standards and equipment specifications
• Ensure adherence to company quality practices, NCR/Punch control method shall be used and reasonable communicate with EPC contractor as well
  

Reporting and Authority

• Participant of weekly Substation Jour fixe
• Reporting towards Work package management
• Control the overall Quality Estimation of substation projects

• to SUB Electrical Manager
• to SUB Civil Manager
• to SUB Construction Manager
• to SUB Package Manager
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Good understanding regarding the overall project context.
• Experienced in Electrical, Civil, Cable duct construction and very well knowledge of EN/IEC/ANSI/CNS and relevant Taiwan code.
• Assertive regarding monitoring and controlling key milestones
• Good communication and English skills
