Position: English TeacherLocation: Neihu District, Taipei, TaiwanStart Date: August 2023Are you passionate about teaching English to young learners? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of elementary school students? Join our dynamic team at a public elementary school in the vibrant Neihu District, Taipei, Taiwan. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced English teacher to inspire and educate our students.Position Details:

• Base Pay: From 65,230 to 75,000 TWD per month, depending on education and experience level.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30-15:30.
• Bonuses: Housing stipend, flight ticket, contract renewal bonus, year-end bonus.
• Benefits: ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) provided, health insurance, and labor insurance.
  

Responsibilities:

• Design and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create fun and engaging lesson plans that integrate real-world topics to promote students’ English language skills and cultural awareness.
• Co-teaching: Collaborate with local teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective English learning environment.
• Competition Training: Provide guidance and training to students participating in various academic and English language competitions.
• School Events: Attend and actively participate in school events, such as festivals, performances, and exhibitions, to showcase students’ English language achievements.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering students’ confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
• Student Age and Class Size: Teach students aged 9-12 in classes with approximately 20-30 students.
• Curriculum: Follow the English Village curriculum, implementing interactive teaching methodologies to engage students in the learning process.
  

Requirements:

• Teaching License: Possess a state/government teaching license or substitute license.
• Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with elementary school students.
• Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using tablets and creating PowerPoint presentations for interactive and multimedia-based teaching.
• Passion for Education: Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching, fostering students’ curiosity and love for learning.
