The Roles / Position Overview

The Project Specialist is a specialized skills role and a position in Logitech who will have a chance to engage & an expert on the PLM - Product Lifecycle Management system, and provides support to the Project Manager by the implementation of details during the project development phases. The position’s main duties are to ensure the configuration setups into the system, as well as the project deliverables distribution and manage & tracking effectively, and communication to all parties involved.

The Project Specialist may handle multiple projects within a fast paced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly organized a nd able to manage multiple projects at once in the absence of day-to-day guidance.

The project specialist will be coached and trained the PLM system and support to manage product configurations through the entire lifecycle management.

The process covered the SKU planning and configuration setup which was directed by the project launch project manager, Implementation of multiple SKUs as well as BOM setup in PLM, maintain and execute various types of change during the NPI phases, also post launch sustaining.

Participate and engage with project managers, launch project managers and design, engineering, global sourcing, operations and multiple manufacturers from planning, execution and monitoring.

Be able to support project managers to execute multiple change management and issues tracking.

May also provide support during the pilot run planning, execution, and deliverables (samples) delivery and tracking.

Collaborate with the document center for managing the configuration details in the PLM cloud system.

May support others activities during the project development phases when necessary.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

2 ~ 4 years in the IT industry, project management supporting role experience is a plus.

Highly organized with attention to details

Strong attitude to work within deadlines

Basic understanding of project management knowledge, principles and practices

Great sense of change management from planning, execution and monitoring.

Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal/ external project team.

Address questions/concerns throughout the project

Familiar with cloud collaboration tools major in Google workspace, and/or Microsoft 365

Practical use experience with PLM systems and tools will be a plus

Education

College graduated with bachelor’s degree or above
