Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in certification processes and test scopes
• Related practical experience in Smartphone Certification or testing areas
• Program management experience in tracking the project progress and on-time delivery

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with US Carrier Certification
• Familiar with Mobile Wireless Standards such as 3GPP test plan, US Carrier Certification test plans
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to develop detailed project plans and execute projects
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Good English oral and written communication skills

As a Program Manager on Pixel Carrier Testing & Certification team, the essentials are 100% on-time certification and testing reports delivery. We need to consolidate all the Carrier Certification and test reports requirements as well as the target timeline to draft certification and testing schedules. We have to assure the testing start and end date to be secured. During testing, we need regular updates from the external parties and also share the latest updates with the internal teams, once we encounter any issues, we will need to collaborate with development teams for troubleshooting and assist them to fix the issues efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Program manage PTCRB/GCF and US Carrier Sustaining Certification test for In-Market projects. Manage In-Market project review execution for PTCRB/GCF and US Carrier Certification projects.
• Work with Carrier TAM (Technical Account Manager) /PgM (Program Manager) to negotiate with global Carriers on test scope and certification requirements and define testing/certification timelines. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Modem Software, Antenna/RF, Engineering PMs, Carrier TAM/PgMs, etc.
• Develop sample strategies, allocation, preparation and delivery.
• Secure testing to start on schedule, drive and monitor testing/certification progress. Drive the internal and external labs test execution.
• Plan and schedule major/minor project deliverables, triaging and prioritizing testing tasks, getting cross functional support and escalating as required. On time/ahead of time report/certification delivery for Global Carrier Certification requirements.
