Overview

Veeco is looking for a Program / Product Manager to drive growth opportunities in the Asia Region. This person will be responsible for managing and driving projects, development programs for key Asia customers. This is an individual contributor role.  The person will also have the opportunity to work closely with local account teams and US HQ to ensure prompt and efficient service to all customers in the Asia region. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as main POC and interface with Veeco’s critical customer’s in the region. Provide guidance on priorities and business impact.
• Coordinate and drive response to escalations from customers.
• Interface and coordinate with customers to define objectives, provide status updates and prepare for product release and deployment.
• Develops project plan working closely with the customer and oversees it from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes and resources.
• Ensures objectives are clearly defined and agreed to across the business unit.
• Identify challenges and drive resolution as a member of a cross functional team comprising of local account team , service and sales personnel, and US HQ to support product revenue requirements
• Engage closely with technology development, applications, engineering, marketing cross functional teams to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and maintain cadence of meetings to track progress and Identify / drive new opportunities with customer
• Follow company best practices to ensure profitable growth, through innovative solutions delivered in a repeatable, scalable and cost-effective manner
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with seven years of related experience or Master’s degree with five years of related experience or a PhD with three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Fluency in Mandarin / English is required
• Experience in Implant, Diffusion, Anneal process technology a major plus point
• Background in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor process development highly desired
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong influencing skills and ability to lead independently across cross-functional teams
• A positive team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills
• Clear communication, good spoken and written communication skills
• Strong influencing skills. Able to build strong relationships at all levels
• Must be able to travel to other customer sites within Asia 20% of the time
