The Role

AMD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced customer program management in driving the development of data center products in collaboration with our partners and internal development teams. The ideal candidate will engage with key OEM, MDC, and ODM partners throughout the entire product lifecycle, from architecture and concept study to platform development, system validation, production, and post-deployment support. This involves equipping partners with in-depth knowledge of AMD’s technologies and platforms, evaluating customer platform designs to promote optimal design practices, and expanding AMD’s business through successful scaling strategies.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this position should possess extensive knowledge of x86 architecture and related domains. Additionally, the candidate must exhibit high levels of motivation, creativity, and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment. The individual must demonstrate the ability to rapidly evaluate various scenarios to determine the most effective solutions for complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with global teams to facilitate the development of AMD GPU server platforms by enhancing customer solutions with technical collateral such as application note documentation, user guides for customization and tuning, sample and reference design materials, as well as debugging and profiling tools.
• Demonstrate analytical skills in addressing technical issues and proposing innovative solutions.
• Directly engage in key technical topics and issues with partners and internal teams, and guide multi-party discussions towards reaching agreement.
• Create customer-specific solutions and provide full technical support throughout the entire product development cycle, including feasibility verification and project management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to focus on technical enablement/communications, technical support, and issue resolution.
• Ensure on-time delivery of all engineering project deliverables into customer development projects.
• Work closely with the engineering, quality, logistics and the Sales team to resolve technical and logistic issues.
• Strive for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Possess extensive experience in the computing industry, having worked at the OEM, MDC, ODM, or technology provider level.
• Have a solid product development background and a deep understanding of server architecture, x86 processors, and system management.
• Quickly grasp new technical concepts and possess excellent analytical, project planning, and management skills.
• Exhibit the ability to influence horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations and lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams to achieve business goals.
• Possess excellent communication and evangelizing skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive team results.
• Display a keen sense of urgency and strong drive, while being a team player with a passion to do whatever it takes for business success.
• Have the soft skills required to leverage resources in a matrix organization and the initiative to continuously learn and adapt.
• Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Show curiosity, self-drive, collaboration, and technical leadership as well as hands-on skills to support optimal operations.
• Be proactive, collaborative, and possess excellent team leadership, communication, project management, and organization skills.
