Bruker’s NanoSurface & Metrology Division is the advanced X-ray and AFM metrology leader for the silicon and compound semiconductor industries. The division offers the most comprehensive portfolio of tools based on AFM and X-ray technologies, including XRR (X-ray reflectometry), XRF (X-ray fluorescence), XRD (X-ray diffraction), XRDI (X-ray diffraction imaging). We seek an Product Support Engineer to support our X-ray activities, particularly XCD (X-ray Critical Dimension analysis).

Responsibilities

• Provide Expert support to worldwide field service engineer teams remotely and on-site.
• Troubleshoot complex system problems using solid problem-solving
• Manage customer escalation, supplying solutions and plan of Action with DD while coordinating needed resources throughout the organization.
• Manage Install systems installations in customer facilities, execute standard install tests, meet overall installation schedule, and ensure system performance meets specifications.
• Train and create training documentation.
• Execute complex system repairs in a quality manner and timely fashion.
• Initiate processes to Improve customer experience.
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Supports the core technology, engineering, and production teams in the qualification new technologies, algorithms, methodologies, software, and hardware features.
• Feeds back customer requirements and interests for hardware and software development.
• Ensures that the product functions according to specifications, including inspection of the tools before shipment and after installation.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE /REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree Level in a related Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Physics or Optics and/or commensurate industry experience
• One-year experience (or more) as a support engineer/service engineer/application engineer/ Process Engineer/Device Engineer in the semiconductor industry on multidisciplinary machines
• Former experience in the semiconductor industry or multidisciplinary equipment company advantage.
• Experience in training& writing documentation.
• Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware, networks, and industry-standard operating systems.

• Fluent English (oral and written) – Must have Skills.
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally at short notice. Expect Long training periods In HQ IL, with around 50% travel.
