We are automating factories to meet the demands of a digital future.You are part of an interdisciplinary team to shape Factory Automation’s product portfolio in the space of Industrial Computing with a customer-centric product development. As a Product Portfolio Manager you act as entrepreneur of your industrial computing product portfolio. You will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products and build next generation products. You will have full responsibility for the results, including definition of customer and market requirements, growth & profit strategies, business planning, product marketing strategies, pricing structures, price positioning and product portfolio roadmaps. You understand market trends, customer personas and the details of the evolving industrial computing market, as well as being the expert on competitionRequired Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience

• University master’s degree, MBA preferred with a focus on entrepreneurship, business creation, technology management, marketing, or strategic/risk management
• Diploma/master’s degree in a technical field, e.g., computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering. Advanced degrees including PhD or MBA are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Portfolio management
• Experience managing products through the full life cycle: strategy, development, experimentation, launch, optimization, sunset.
• Strong customer centric mindset and demonstrated ability to put the customer first
• Strategic and critical thinking, strong business judgment
• Ability to challenge the status quo internally for addressing the customer problems
• Creative problem solving skills and a growth mindset approach
• You have proven strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technology concepts simply and concisely
• You show a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross functional challenges.
• You have strong analytic skills, proven ability to think strategically and influence stakeholders to facilitate complex decision-making
• You have a strong ability to translate customer needs to solution design and understand technology impact
• You show excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trustful relationships across all hierarchies and within an ecosystem of internal and external partners
• A high degree of creativity, open-mind, and self-initiative as well as fluency in English complete your profile
