Job Description

• Build and maintain relationships across worldwide ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers) and be the primary liaison manager between WDC flash product group and ODMs
• Collaborate with ODMs and understand their SSD testing process from all aspects including Thermal, Shock, Vibration, Power, Signal integrity, Safety, Operating system and tools.
• Collaborate with ODMs by sending them client and enterprise SSD early samples and get them tested on their environment ahead of customer qualifications to avoid surprises
• System level integration testing
• Generate report on regular cadence and share it with product engineering groups
• Work with platform validation groups and identify the validation gaps
• Conduct training on demand basis to worldwide engineering groups
  

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree with the experience in Storage Domain
• Comfortable with Windows and Linux operating environment
• Familiar with PCIe, NVMe and/or any other storage protocols like SAS or SATA
• Familiar with performance and power measurement benchmarking tools
• Able to articulate complex engineering problems to ODMs and product teams
• Good Interpersonal skills and communication skills
• The individual is expected to travel to ODM sites on demand basis (once the situation becomes normal worldwide) – Subject to company policy
