Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Purpose of the Position: Responsible for assured supply of material and service while ensuring optimum materials utilization and supplier performance.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Supply management on MRO service and Package material to ensure material and service supply at right time , right quantity , right quality and right cost .
• Follow GSM strategies and plans to make decisions to purchase product or service , aligned with organizational objectives and sourcing strategies .
• Assist with supplier Relationship management process including supplier audit and performance evaluation and development.
• Ensure to comply with global buying policy , SOP and local regulation .
• Category spending management and drive cost reduction opportunity through well collaboration with business stakeholder and suppliers
• Manage contractual documents (Supply Agreement , Pricing Agreement , PO , NDA , COI)
• Assist with commodity review and supply intelligence .
• Streamline operation process to improve operation efficiency .

Education & Experience

• Education – Bachelor
• At least 2 year of experience in Procurement or Logistics area
• ERP system (SAP / PeopleSoft)
• Microsoft Word , Excel , Outlook , Power point

• Must be knowledgeable of supply management
• Good problem solving
• Well telephone and face-to-face verbal communication skills, including experience clarifying information in a friendly and positive manner
• Ability to establish priorities, multitask, work independently
