Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to effectively and efficiently process and process for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and QC inspection and relevant materials and coatings.
• Work with manufacture engineers to establish process controls and troubleshoot SMT, 2D & 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Reflow, Selective Solder, In-Circuit Test, Conformal Coat, Depanelization, Functional Test, X-Ray and related equipment.
• Evaluates, implements, and monitors quality procedures and operating systems for the manufacture of printed circuit boards including operator training requirements.
• Establish and implement Quality systems (work instructions, boundary samples, data/changelogs, etc.) required to achieve zero-defect (single-digit PPM) quality performance.
• Provides ongoing product and process improvements to meet Quality, and production goals, include IOC/IPQC/OQC.
• Provides "on the floor" technical and quality support as required for critical process/product issues.
• Ensures production equipment and process controls are statistically capable of meeting product-specific quality requirements and/or drives improvement activities required to achieve capability.
• Provides input for capital equipment needs and assists in the budget process for equipment, training, software, and equipment installation projects to ensure customer quality requirements are met.
• Manage QC technician and optimize efficiency for inspection throughput base on demand capacity forecast.
• Manage warehouse/inventory system/resource for component/spare parts, and response for audit review internally.
  

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• At least 5-7 years of experience in the PCBA manufacturing field required with exposure to SMT processes.
• Proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft products.)
• Working knowledge of AIAG and IATF16949 Quality Standards
• Working knowledge of Quality problem-solving tools including, but not limited to, 8D methodology, five Whys, Cause and Effect Diagrams, and statistical analysis methodologies.
  

Education

Bachelor’ s Degree in Engineering or above
