The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Click to see how Sibelco materials are used in products within and outside your home.Location:Long-TengRole Purpose:Manage and drive the Supply Chain strategy within sub-regions and capture real savings as well as participate in the strategic sourcing activities for all Supply Chain categories of spend, with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions while maintaining and improving product quality and vendor service levels.Responsibilities:

• Work in collaboration with key stakeholders in Business Service Team, Customer Service Team, Operations, regional leaderships and VPs and corporate functions to develop and implement effective cost reduction strategies.
• Perform tenders, negotiate, and ensure contracting with third-party suppliers in line with business requirements as well as with Sibelco key values.
• Manage supplier relationships in the most efficient way and in line with the Supply Chain strategy and to ensure continuous supply chain operation.
• Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws being responsible for meeting all KPIs, governances and compliances in Supply Chain.
• Ensure that the Supply Chain processes are implemented in an efficient and coherent way and drive implementation of operational excellence in the scope of responsibility. Implement locally the Supply Chain strategy which has been agreed at the regional level.
• Optimize logistical costs in the cluster by leveraging volumes in between the different production sites as well as different transportation routes.
• Implement an action plan based on cost reduction (improve efficiency) and better service (customer satisfaction and better performance) and drive visible and sustainable results to the cluster(s) and Sub-Regional P&L.
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service levels.
• Follow-up market trends, competition strategy and innovations ensuring the best value for Sibelco.
• Provide support in the execution of merger & acquisition and greenfield project strategies.
• Ensure MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards) is implemented in the Sub-Region/cluster(s) in scope and the SC&P procedure is followed.
  

About you:

• Educated to college or degree level.
• At least 10 years prior Industrial experience in supply chain.
• Experience in change management
• Practical and well understanding of the industry supply chain.
• Proficient in English - both verbal and written
• Fluent in the local language - both verbal and written
