We are seeking a seasoned Automation Lead with over 10 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. This leader will be responsible for guiding the automation engineers, driving technological innovation and ensuring the efficient implementation of projects.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software/web development
• Python
• Familiarity with Redfish and IPMI
• Ability to synthesize information
• English - spoken and written
  
  

Desired Skills:

• PHP or shell scripting
• DB experience
• Jenkins experience
• Groovy Programming Language
• Web Automation - Selenium or similar
• Linux Operations (For most of our Linux based Test Cases) and GIT Server (For Script Version Control)
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Prioritizes automation requests
• Coordinates work assignments for small automation group
• Leads development of important, urgent and high visibility projects
• Leads technical reviews of all work product from team
• Drives adherence to coding and style standards
• Performs request sizing, Signs off on sizing by team members
• Mentors junior team members on PV Tools, processes and standards
• Oversees automation tools and hardware
• Point of Contact for technical discussions around automation
• Drives active communication with PV leadership team
• Team status
• Technical recommendations
• Efficiency/Effectiveness proposals
