Summary

We’re looking for a talented iOS engineer to work closely with us to provide scalable playback solutions with best user experiences. You will be able to hands-on/lead challenged core component development/research, work with video experts with the state-of-the-art adaptive streaming technologies and even participate in associated communities, e.g. DASH-IF or Streaming Media West, to connect yourself with the world. With the release of streaming solutions, you will be one of us to deliver the best streaming experience to the world. What are you waiting for?!

Responsibilities:

• To design and develop playback module/SDK, such as streaming playback, any work relates to playback such as ultra low latency, SSAI, Live, offline playback, (AVFoundation and AVPlayer frameworks)
• To constantly polish SDK document to ensure the readability and the scalability
• Code optimization and performance improvements
• To maintain CI / CD pipeline scripts

Requirements:

• 3+ years solid experience in iOS development with Swift (experience in Swift and Objective-C is better)
• Computer science with multimedia background
• Familiar with multimedia programming, such as audio/video streaming related features
• Good communication skill and team-work spirit
• Firm background in object-oriented programming
• Experience with version control tool such as Git or SVN

Nice To Have:

• Familiar with testing knowledge
• Familiar with Continuous Integration in iOS
• Familiar with agile software development process
• It is good to show us your previous work which you are proud of, or piece of code you’ve contributed to any open-source projects
