General Summary
About the job:
- The interns hired for this position should expect to learn and gain exciting real-world RF chip level experience at the thriving environment and will be trained with invaluable skills and industry knowledge.
- We own design verification/characterization and test solutions of highly integrated 5G RF transceiver ICs with global team setting and partnering with different internal teams across different time zones.
- We work with Design, System, Foundry, Reliability and Operations teams frequently to commercialize new RF products, explore innovations and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative
- Support RF chip-level measurement
- Support RF characterization bench solution bring-up
- Develop applications (coding, programming)
- Maintain lab inventory
- Support equipment spec review and procurement activities
- In study towards a bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Communication/Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Applicable Course work: Digital Communications, Mobile Communications, Microwave Engineering, Microwave Measurement, Random Variables, Digital Logic, Microelectronics, Programming Language (C++, JAVA, Python, VB, LabVIEW)
- Good communicator in verbal and writing English
- Hands on experience in RF equipment is a plus (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope…etc.)
- Commitment of minimum 4-month internship. Able to work not less than 20 hours a week.
- Practical development & experience with a wide variety of product characterization engineering tasks
- Collaborating hand-in-hand with skilled teams
- Shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with seasoned professionals
- Opportunity to participate in networking events and company meetings
- Flexible schedule for students
- Potential full-time job offering after internship over based on internship lengths & performance assessment
