Minimum requirements:

1. Master degrees in Electrical Engineering or related field of study

2. Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Power IC design

a. Extensive experience in switching DCDC regulators design e.g. multi-phase buck, boost and buck-boost converters. Deep understanding of different control architectures.

b. Deep understanding of power stage design and layout including gate drivers, fault systems and power FETs.

c. Experience working with layout team on block and top level floor-planning

d. Knowledge of device physics and process technologies tradeoffs that are applicable to Power IC design.

e. Expertise in tools e.g. Spectre, Simplis, and AMS

Responsibilities include:

1. Product ownership and responsibilities from definition to release to manufacturing.

2. Translate system requirements to chip and block level architecture and specifications.

3. Design high performance power IC blocks including LDO and switching regulators

4. Make assignments for team members, providing design guidance, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project

5. Work with and provide guidance to layout engineers and monitors the progress of IC layout.

6. Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
