We’re currently recruiting for our client, the Global Construction/Engineering Expert for Power & Energy Systems, Renewable Energy Systems, Social Infrastructure Systems, Industrial Equipment Systems, Data Storages, Electronic Media, and Display Products, and Global Procurement Services.

We are looking for an experienced Taiwanese HSE professional to join our dynamic team at the Operation Center in Lukang, Changhua. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of HSE working experience for related activities, such as HSE compliance, documentation, inspection/auditing, mitigation measure implementation, etc. Willingness to go offshore is a prerequisite for this role.
Fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English in reading, writing, and speaking is required.



Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HSE Manager to be in charge of oversight and evaluation of HSE compliance at both onshore and offshore locations
  • Conducting thorough HSE inspections on both onshore and offshore facilities
  • Identification of potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the implementation of necessary corrective measures
  • Gathering weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data for month-end reporting
  • Conducting training sessions for staff members, including toolbox talks
  • Facilitating communication and coordination with our customer, Taiwan Electric Company, for necessary applications and approvals

Qualifications:

  • Taiwanese nationals or foreign nationals who is currently in Taiwan with fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Bachelor degree in Health and safety related major preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within a similar role in offshore wind industry.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of Taiwanese legislation related to health, safety, and environment
  • Certified in Class-A Occupational Health & Safefty Affairs Manager in Taiwan.
  • Familiarity with the implementation and application of ISO standards
  • Solid foundation in the engineering and/or construction sectors
  • Proficiency in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills to secure support and buy-in from stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret, extract, and analyze complex data accurately to identify issues and propose potential solutions
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin; Japanese language skills are considered a plus
