Financial Analyst, Media Finance

The Walt Disney Company (Taiwan) is looking for an ambitious, quick learning, and proactive finance professional to support the media network business. This role will be responsible for all finance aspects under media network FP&A organization. Secondary to routine required financial submission to all internal stakeholders, this role is also required to assist media finance lead in terms of commercial support and various ad hoc analysis for decision making. This person needs to be able to work under high pressure environment and be able to liaise with difference partners to ensure smooth Disney/21CF transition.

Responsibilities :

5YP/AOP/Forecast

• Prepare full P&L forecast of the business support with solid understanding of business
• Uploading forecast numbers into system
• Prepare deliverables to local and US stakeholders
• Support various reporting & analysis presentations
  
  

Quarterly closing

• Expense/Overhead tracking
• Quarterly revenue/cost accrual
• Prepare deliverables to local and US stakeholders
  
  

Revenue

• Various Ad Sales and Affiliate analysis
• Support contract preparation (deal term review and coordination among different stakeholders)
  
  

Contract Management

• Update the contract summary timely
  
  

Others

• Support the market analysis
• Support various project analysis and model build-ups
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Other ad hoc requests
  
  

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting major of renowned university required, CPA or ACCA preferred
• At least 3-4 years working experience and at least 2 years in FP&A functions
• Experiences in media entertainment industry /multinational companies / Big 4 preferred
• Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
• Financial Modelling and Analysis
• Application of Financial & Accounting Principles
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge with SAP is a plus
• Professional verbal and written English
• Complete routine financial deliveries independently
• Engages colleagues across the organization to optimize performance
