About the role

Are you passionate about creating innovative and engaging events and campaigns that reach millions of people? We are seeking an experienced and vibrant Event Manager to join our team.

As the Event Manager, you will work closely with the CEO, Branding, and Marketing Team, HR Team, and Business Development Team in Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore to develop and execute fully integrated multi-channel engagement campaigns that build ALP’s branding and optimize business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • You’ll develop and implement event plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • You’ll manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and accommodation arrangements
  • You’ll coordinate with event sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors to ensure their needs are met and their participation in events is successful
  • You’ll work with the branding and marketing team to develop event promotion and communication plans, including social media, email marketing, career fairs, and other marketing channels
  • You’ll oversee on-site event management, including registration, setup, teardown, and attendee management
  • You’ll identify new event opportunities and develop proposals for potential events

Essential and Functional Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years or above of experience in event planning and management; having experience in an event agency or B2B industry will be a plus; having working experience in South East Asia will be a plus
  • Expertise in MS Office and familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Proven track record of successful local or oversea event planning and execution
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills; experience in project management, project design, and agency management is preferred
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of event technology and digital marketing tools
  • Exceptional oral & written communication of Mandarin and English; other language accessibility in the SEA region will be a plus.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges are preferred
  • Experience in working across different enterprise content management platforms, web-based collaborative platforms, and intranet solutions is preferred
