**Engineering Project Manager (** **Innovation Excellence Program** **)**

Engineering Project Management professionals within Engineering Service are critical to the smooth running of innovative projects. Their key responsibility is to make sure initiatives are completed on time and within budget. This involves the careful coordination of collaborative, cross-functional teams through a host of meetings and progress measurement activity. Their responsibilities begin at the beginning and they leave no job unfinished until the project is delivered.

**What You’ll Achieve**

Manages NB/Mobility Device Platform for assigned projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project. Conducts periodic reviews to ensure the project is on track and conducts post-project reviews.

You Will

• Parts Number management - Manage part numbers and BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, conduct BOM review and tracking to ensure accuracy and that BOM structure meets the needs of all affected business areas and regions;
• Project status and key milestone schedule tracking - Manage platform projects, typically from the start of project development to the product launch, and sustaining after mass production;
• Development sample and qualification tracking - Manage development sample arrangement, monitor qualification status
• Change Request management and tracking during product development;
• Cross-functional communication and coordination - Interlock, engage and coordinate project development schedules and progress with cross-functional teams including internal stakeholders (core team, extended teams) and external business partners (ODM and technical vendors);
• Support Program Manager, Development Manager and Core Team - Support and work closely with the team, and host / attend interlock meetings with core team / extended teams to track and align project status.

**Essential Requirements**

• Minimum 6
• years experience working within a Computer Notebook, Tablet, Desktop, Mobility Device brand company, hardware supplier or manufacturer or related technical field;
• Experience in PC product development and project management;
• Good knowledge and experience in Parts Number management, Change Request management, and HW/SW development & sustaining project coordination;
• Fluent English communication capability and skill: speak/listen & read/write;
• Organizing and planning skills;
  

**Desirable Requirements**

• Strong ability to work with suppliers.
• Strong ability to engage extended team members.
