Summary

Role of complement CTO team and responsible for,

• Pre-Concept/ Concept evaluation
• Feasibility Study& Early RFI/RFP/RFQ Engagement
• Assist with building Leverage Matrix for Portfolio

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Focus is EE, but with strong understanding of Server/Storage System architectures include Sound knowledge of DC-MHS design
• Ideally has designed for Hyperscale customers
• Experience with DC-SCM 2.0 and HW root of trust a plus
• Good working knowledge of power up/power down sequencing
• Experience with CPLD best practices: including coding, power sequencing, test vectors
• Highly skilled at root cause analysis and trouble shooting
• Understands benefit of leverage and reuse in EE design

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or MS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with at least 15 years related experience in Server/Storage HW design
• Ability to define the architecture of Server system solution taking into consideration specific customer requirements or from new Standards.
• Ability to define/revise the specification and test plans for the qualification of Server system and all the way to the product level.
• Ability to track and foresee technology trends.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify problems, trends, and develop solutions
• Experience in development in the server industry with thorough understanding of server business, including all phases of researching and development as well as applicable markets.
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the significance of time to market, risk mitigation, contingency plans, return on investment, etc.
• Good working knowledge in various signal test and measurement instruments like network analyzer, and oscilloscope etc.
• Good English in Read/Write
• Understand Server MB design flow and know how to co-work well with other function teams.

PREFERENCE:

• Experience of working in major server OEM/ODM company, like Quanta, Foxconn, Wistron etc.
• Experience with 1st tier branding customer on client/server systems development (i.e. ODM/OEM) and team leading will be highly expecting.
• Ever work with Tier one customer like Google, Meta, Dell, HP etc.
• Fluent English/Chinese language and able to work with team members from global
