The position is for the foundation IP Development function, Primary function to manage a RD team to define how foundation IP will be used competitively at the SoC level, stabilizing performance and to bring in considerations. Initial focus will be on timing sign-off and power/ground integrity, then chip level P&R strategy later. Heavy interaction with the IP development teams, EDA tool teams and sometimes customers.

• Typically requires a minimum of 15+ years of related industry experience. At this level, post-graduate coursework or knowledge base equivalent is expected.
• Applies cutting edge practices, theories, concepts and technologies in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
• Champions and develops innovative values and ideas.
• Helps in setting organization road-map.
• Champions projects, programs and significant business initiatives that affect the organization’s long-term goals and targets.
• Exercises wide latitude in creating goals and approaches to critical assignments and projects.
• Advises senior management on specialized technical or business issues.
• Recognized as experienced in the field internally and externally and serves as a role model for the organization.
